Nazi Germany, 1942. As World War Two rages, Sophie Scholl reunites with her beloved brother Hans in Munich. Soon she meets his young student friends. Like her they can take no more of the war. Then leaflets calling for a revolt against Hitler start appearing, put out by a mysterious group called the White Rose. Who are these people? No one knows. But the Gestapo is determined to hunt them down – and suddenly Sophie finds herself in the most terrible danger.
