This is a highly personalised service for children and young people with additional needs that mean that books for their chronological age would not be appropriate. You tell us about the recipient and we will find books that are suitable for their needs. This service may suit children and young people who have, for example, global developmental delay, whose reading age is a lot lower than their chronological age (over 3 years difference), who have brain injuries, severe autism or many other conditions. Once you have placed your order, we’ll send you a detailed form to complete all about the child, their interests, likes/dislikes and needs so that we can ensure we choose books each month that suit them.
