Saturday 25th September 2021 was a fabulous and exciting day for us when we finally flung open the doors on our brand new bookshop! We were super excited to welcome local author, Gemma Keir, and her wonderfully inclusive series ‘The Abilities in Me’, alongside many of the families who she worked with on her books. Wandering around town, we heard that the Gruffalo was spotted and he just about fitted into the shop for a special storytime. Throughout the day we had story sessions, and singing from the Imajica theatre group. It was such a wonderful day for us and we felt so welcomed by everyone in Hitchin!
